Job Description Responsibilities
- Review customer deductions and categorize to appropriate codes.
- Perform the audit of customer claims, ensuring the backup and authorization presented are acceptable and within departmental guidelines and Pactiv policy.
- Understand customer contracts and highlight if contract not in accordance with the one face policy.
- Proactively communicate information and provide resources to internal and external customers to resolve deductions in a timely manner.
- Identify all invalid customer claims, commence the recovery process and take preventative measures to eliminate future deductions.
- Report out exceptions and drive compliance.
- Identify opportunity to drive efficiencies.
- Verify data accuracy ensuring that transactions are properly supported and in accordance with internal policies and SOX initiatives.
- Research, plan and assist in the implementation of changes.
- Assist in special projects as assigned.
- AS degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting or High School diploma with at least 2 years finance or customer service experience.
- Excellent knowledge of systems (SAP, Excel, Word), display strong team skills, excellent follow-up, telephone and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize to meet deadlines.
