Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. This role is responsible for driving and implementing cross‑functional cost objectives and plans to achieve project cost targets aligned with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage comprehensive cost control strategies for construction projects to achieve overall construction project cost targets.
- Drive program metrics and develop key indicators and objectives to measure and monitor cost performance.
- Report on project status, manage risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful project implementation.
- Create and implement a framework for continuous improvement in construction cost analysis, ensuring competitive cost negotiations for Procurement Category teams.
- Identify and analyze cost irregularities and trends.
- Work with business analytics and smart manufacturing teams to develop tools for maintaining, tracking, and reporting key cost data to drive decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction cost management or a related occupation.
