The Communications Coordinator works within the Communications Department and is primarily responsible for the production and publication of The Advocate, the official publication of the Idaho State Bar, nine times per year. The position oversees all aspects of magazine production including editorial decisions, copywriting, copyediting, photography, design, prepress, and mailing, while also supporting broader ISB and ILF communications, public relations, and events as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong copyediting and project management skills, experience with publication or design software, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately and efficiently.
A bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience. Minimum of two years of experience in copyediting, copywriting, and office administration preferred. Salary $55,000 - $67,000 DOE.
