Slide Attendant

Job Summary:

Monitors aquatic water slide attractions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Enforces water slide rules, provides excellent customer service, and assists in maintaining a clean and safe aquatic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Monitor water slide operations to ensure guest safety and compliance with facility rules and procedures.

* Instruct guests on proper slide use and communicate safety requirements before participation.

* Observe slide users continuously and respond appropriately to unsafe behaviors or emergency situations.

* Control rider flow and dispatch guests in accordance with established safety guidelines.

* Provide courteous and professional customer service by answering questions and assisting guests.

* Support lifeguards and other aquatic staff in maintaining a safe and positive environment for patrons.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 16 years of age.

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.

Work Environment:

* Work is performed primarily outdoors at aquatic facilities and water attractions. Employees are regularly exposed to heat, sunlight, humidity, water, and varying weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, talk, hear, and use hands to perform job-related tasks. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to observe guest activity for extended periods.
