The College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Coordinator will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the district's College, Career, and Military Readiness initiatives. This position will collaborate with campus and district leaders to maximize student readiness outcomes, ensure compliance with state accountability requirements, monitor CCMR performance data, and expand opportunities that prepare students for postsecondary success.
EssentialDuties
- CCMR Strategy & Program Coordination
- Develop, implement, and evaluate district-wide College, Career, and Military Readiness initiatives aligned with state accountability goals.
- Coordinate CCMR programs and activities to increase student participation and successful completion of approved readiness pathways.
- Support campuses in developing strategies that increase student access to dual credit, industry-based certifications, military readiness, and other CCMR opportunities.
- Coordinate the implementation of credit recovery programs and other academic supports designed to improve student graduation and readiness outcomes.
- Assist campuses with scheduling strategies that promote equitable student access to CCMR pathways.
- Data Analysis & Accountability
- Maintain and monitor district-wide CCMR data to track individual student progress toward readiness indicators.
- Analyze student, campus, and subgroup performance data to identify trends, monitor progress, and recommend targeted interventions.
- Conduct data audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of CCMR-related records prior to state reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with district staff to ensure accurate reporting of Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs), military enlistment documentation, and other CCMR indicators.
- Monitor state accountability requirements and communicate changes that may impact district CCMR performance.
- Testing & Postsecondary Readiness
- Coordinate district and campus logistics for TSIA2, SAT, ACT, and other college readiness assessments, including scheduling, testing accommodations, and test voucher distribution.
- Support initiatives that prepare students for college admissions, workforce readiness, military service, and postsecondary success.
- Collaborate with school counselors and campus staff to ensure students receive appropriate guidance regarding CCMR opportunities.
- Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, workforce organizations, military representatives, and community partners to expand student opportunities.
- Coordinate district-wide parent and student engagement initiatives, including financial aid workshops, career fairs, and informational sessions related to college and career readiness.
- Serve as a district resource by providing guidance, training, and support to campus administrators, counselors, and instructional staff regarding CCMR initiatives and best practices.
- You will play a key role in our collective success by proactively pivoting to support emerging business needs and strategic priorities directed by your manager.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in secondary education, including classroom teaching, school counseling, instructional leadership, or campus administration.
- Extensive knowledge of Texas College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) accountability requirements.
- Strong understanding of Texas House Bill 3 (HB
3) CCMR Outcomes Bonus requirements and state accountability systems. - Knowledge of the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA2), SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement (AP), dual credit, Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs), and other approved CCMR pathways.
- Familiarity with PEIMS reporting requirements and state data submission processes.
- Ability to analyze complex student performance data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
