OverviewThe Process Improvement Engineer will drive operational excellence in manufacturing, packing, and picking activities at Melaleuca facilities. The role focuses on identifying large operational opportunities and implementing sustainable improvements using Lean Six Sigma and other continuous‑improvement tools.
Responsibilities- Identify critical improvement opportunities within the assigned scope.
- Manage improvement projects from conception through completion.
- Align organizational objectives and resources to support the improvement plan.
- Establish specific success criteria, timelines, actions, and metrics.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to deploy solutions using Problem‑Solving techniques.
- Develop training to enhance operational team capabilities.
- Track and measure project results.
- Implement Standard Work Processes to sustain outcomes.
- Collaborate with other facilities worldwide to share and reapply ideas.
- Report directly to the Site Operations Leader or Site Engineering Leader and maintain communication with the Continuous Improvement Director.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Analytics, Technical Services, Quality, and R&D.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and eager to learn.
- Problem‑solving abilities.
- Adaptable to new situations quickly.
- Goal‑oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting aptitude.
- Understanding of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
