Job OverviewWork as an alarm monitor, processing alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations.
Responsibilities- Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally.
- Dispatch the proper authorities to subscribers’ locations in emergencies.
- Verify that help is on the way and notify responsible parties.
- Assist partner alarm companies with system tests to ensure alarms are working properly.
- Accurately document all responses on the computer.
- Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks.
- Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Work as a 24/7 business, including holidays and required weekend day(s).
- Ensure compliance with pre‑employment training, drug testing, and background checks.
- Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Availability to work day/early morning shifts.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
- Willingness to work a weekend day each week or every other weekend.
- Commitment to a 6‑month term.
- Ability to pass a two‑week fully‑paid training class.
- Pass a pre‑employment drug test and background check.
- Part‑time – 16–29 hours per week.
- Starting pay $14.50/hour (up to $15.00/hour after 90 days) or $15.50/hour (up to $16.00/hour after 90 days).
