Job Overview

Corporate Accountant – provides guidance on financial processes, accounting standards, and business operations, prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements, supports leadership, finance teams, and clients to improve financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and enhance overall business performance.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Keep records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities.
  • Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams or external clients on accounting‑related questions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as finance, operations, and compliance.
  • Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • 4 to 6+ years of experience in accounting, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with accounting software Net Suite preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analyzing information.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
