Position and Role
Full‑Time Associate Financial Advisor at our Rexburg, Idaho Administration Building. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. The minimum starting pay is $60,382.33 per year, DOE. Responsible for providing investment services and counseling clients and prospective clients about non‑depository financial products/services. Responsible for servicing current clients as part of the investment management team.
Responsibilities- Promote, sell, and service non‑depository financial products.
- Assist the Wealth Manager with servicing current clients as assigned.
- Follow broker/dealer and insurance company policies and procedures. Maintain blotter, advertising, client, and correspondence files. Accurately complete client profiles for all new clients. Accomplish daily compliance requirements.
- Perform daily accounting of various transactions. Visit branches to meet clients and train branch staff as needed.
- Maintain required individual insurance and securities licenses, including continuing education requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned and ensure all duties comply with the Bank Secrecy Act. Attend community events as assigned. Strive to enhance the member experience, including engaging in needs‑based cross‑servicing.
- Two to five years of similar or related experience.
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses (required).
- Life insurance license (required).
- Must be able to register with the SEC.
- Work involves extensive personal contact for conflict resolution, relationship building, and solicitation. Requires confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and tact in communication.
Primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in an emergency. Must be able to operate routine office equipment (telephone, copier, facsimile, calculator). Must routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6–8 hours per day when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Work indoors in a climate‑controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
