Emergency Room - Health Unit Coordinator - (FT

Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a Health Unit Coordinator in the Emergency Department. The Health Unit Coordinator provides indirect patient care consistent with the units standards of care. Facilitates communication needs of patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff as needed as well as preparing/compiling patient records through the use of various computer programs.

• 6am-6pm
• (3) 12 hour shifts
• Variable Days
• Rotating Weekends and Holidays

• 1. Basic computer knowledge, medical terminology is preferred.
• 2. Communication skill verbal and phone.
• 1. One year of experience in a health care setting preferred.
• 1. High school graduate or equivalent
