Senior Workday HRIS Analyst – Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT)

Location:

Statewide Multi Use,

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for HR COEs and the HR Service Center, providing guidance on requirements gathering, design validation, user acceptance testing, and technical system testing.
• Configure and manage Workday HR technology to support global and local enhancements, change requests, and scalability requirements.
• Assess the impact of configuration changes on related processes and downstream systems, advising stakeholders as needed.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support self‑service and configuration reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely reconciliation.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, ensuring milestones are met within defined constraints and communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Analyze business requirements, determine feasibility, propose alternative solutions, and collaborate with the HR Service Center to deliver finalized requirements.
• Identify and recommend process improvements by re‑examining existing configurations.
• Provide TierIII system support for technical issues, acting as the escalation point for process or configuration problems raised by end users.
• Develop and share user procedures, guidelines, documentation, training materials, and communications with TierI and TierII support teams.
• Mentor HRIS team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Document functionality and configuration details for enhancements, incidents, and project work.
• Ensure the integrity and compliance of the assigned HR technology platform, maintaining efficient change control processes.
• Consult with HR Service Center and business partners to resolve current issues and anticipate future needs.
• Monitor new feature releases, evaluate their impact on the functional area, and recommend implementation plans.
• Design and execute test scenarios for business–delivered enhancements and system upgrades.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging HR technology practices, providing recommendations for best practices.
• Conduct vendor integration reviews and address data integrity issues, including back‑end data, position, and organization management processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HRIS function.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training in Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Workday Professional Certification;
  Payroll certification is preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of Workday experience, including at least three (3) years specifically with the Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) module.
• Experience with Workday benefits is a plus.
