Overview
Position:
Principal Software Engineer (Information Technology Group)
- Great starting pay: $16.10 per hour
- Work hours:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Longevity bonus: 5 years/$5,000, 10 years/$10,000, 15 years/$15,000, etc.

- Complete all aspects of audits, reviewing and verifying the work order process; correct and resolve problems.
- Enter job labor for product and perform issues to production jobs.
- Enter scrap amounts from finished jobs.
- Audit job packets and ensure 100% accuracy.
- File finished goods work orders and fill out summary sheets on OTC product jobs.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production Planners, Inventory Control, Production Supervisors, and Coordinators.
- Attend supervisor and coordinator meetings when necessary.
- Close job packets.
- Perform issues and audit bulk job packets, investigating and resolving any inaccuracies.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Formulation Manager, and Supervisors.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Production Auditor.
- Support Production Managers, Supervisors, and Planners in all aspects of their job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- 6 months prior experience at Melaleuca or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to lead.
- 45 words‑per‑minute typing speed.
- Proficiency in JDE and strong knowledge of the company’s computer systems.
- Detailed work and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and create solutions.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Word processing, graphics, and spreadsheet skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and logic skills.
- Follow‑up and follow‑through on a wide variety of issues.
- Effective interface with a broad assortment of plant personnel.
- Experience with computers and ability to learn new programs quickly.
- Excellent math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, analysis, etc.).
- Manual dexterity for collating, sorting, filing, typing, writing, etc.
- Ability to sit or stand with intermittent walking for the duration of the shift.
- Verbally and visually read reports and computer screens.
- Three months previous inventory control experience or equivalent is helpful.
- Ability to work with a broad assortment of people.
- Ability to perform the essential duties with efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
