Group Marketing Manager – Starbucks

Graduation (Bachelor’s degree required)
- Lead a team of approximately 4 marketing experts focused on engaging, retaining and recognizing existing Starbucks Rewards members and collaborate closely with the onboarding marketing team to ensure consistency in member experience throughout the retention lifecycle.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve engagement, retention, and awareness campaigns based on customer insights, customer‑level testing, and quantitative analysis.
- Lead and collaborate with internal and external agencies (Media, Creative, Marketing Operations) in the development of all marketing communications for engagement, retention and recognition campaigns (from information to summary, production to implementation).
- Advocate for an omnichannel mindset when implementing marketing campaigns and lead marketing channels on loyalty communication strategies to ensure user experience needs for Starbucks Rewards members are integrated into owned, paid and affiliate marketing channels.
- Collaborate with analytics and finance teams to clearly measure, monitor, and report on member behavior, engagement, and retention at the member level and in the aggregate; continuously refine and optimize strategies through a test‑and‑learn approach.
- Maximize value among Starbucks Rewards members by understanding potential value and optimizing offers and communications; work with Analytics to understand all available first‑party and third‑party customer insights for optimal targeting and relevant messaging.
- 2+ years working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, consumer‑facing corporate or agency environment with responsibility for retention or marketing strategy with a strong knowledge base of direct‑to‑client/CRM marketing programs across own channels and payments. Multi‑channel retail experience is a plus.
- Strategic Thought Leadership – strong business acumen and ability to handle complex and ambiguous business problems and develop strategic solutions.
- Business Acumen – strong financial acumen and ability to create business plans that include financial performance levers, P&L management experience, and agile decision‑making.
- Customer‑Centric Mindset – leverage customer segmentation and journeys to deliver relevant programs, benefits, and experiences to drive business outcomes.
- Analytical – synthesize complex and diverse information to build marketing plans.
- Results‑Oriented – set vision, articulate desired outcome, and create a path to achieve it collaboratively.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration – excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Team Building and Leadership – proven leadership experience and ability to lead and influence; strong collaboration across organizational boundaries.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in business or marketing required; MBA preferred.
