Mother Baby Unit - Health Unit Coordinator (Full Time)

health is seeking to hire a skilled Health Unit Coordinator to provide indirect patient care in the Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum setting. The incumbent meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff, demonstrate basic computer knowledge, prepare and complies records, initiates direction from physician and nursing staff.
The Health Unit Coordinator regularly participates in performance improvement activities, maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Classification: Full Time
- Schedule: Day Shift (6am-6pm)
- 3 (12 hour) Shifts per week
Education/
Certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Idaho, preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS), current (must have within 6 months of being hired)
Experience:
Previous C.N.A. experience preferred
Required Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate written and verbally
Proven problem solving and decision making skills
