Behavioral Health Unit

The Registered Nurse (RN) in our Behavioral Health Unit plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan. In this position, you will assess, plan, coordinate, and implement care tailored to the unique emotional, psychological, and medical needs of each patient.
Our RNs are supported in providing high-quality care in a safe, collaborative environment that values clinical excellence, flexibility, and continuous improvement. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day.

- Tues, Fri, Sat - Week 3
- Sun, Mon, Thurs
Required Skills:
- Knowledgeable in Medical Terminology
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS HCP)
- Facility designated de-escalation training within one year of hire
- Ability to manage, coordinate, and direct nurses in administrative tasks
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and staff
- Problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for day-to-day challenges
- Profound knowledge of all medications and equipment in the department
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and set priorities
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and basic Windows programs
- One (1) year psychiatric nursing experience (preferred)
- One (1) year overall nursing experience (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Maintains current RN license within the state of Idaho
