A well-established and growing construction materials company is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives across its aggregates, concrete, and materials operations.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a quality professional with strong technical expertise who is looking to drive quality standards, laboratory excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of the company's QA/QC program across aggregates, concrete production, and laboratory operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee laboratory testing programs, quality systems, documentation, and accreditation processes.
- Support operations teams by identifying quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage mix design validation, materials testing, and product performance programs.
- Develop quality metrics, reporting systems, and performance dashboards to monitor operational performance.
- Investigate customer complaints, product non-conformances, and root‑cause issues while implementing preventative solutions.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor quality and laboratory personnel across the business.
- Multi‑site operation supporting aggregates, concrete, and construction materials production.

- 10+ years of experience within quality assurance, quality control, materials testing, or technical services in the construction materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of aggregates, concrete, cementitious materials, and laboratory testing procedures.
- Experience managing quality systems, laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ISO, or related industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Geology, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
