Job Summary:

As a Scanning Assistant at Broulim’s , you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management. Your primary responsibility will be to scan and price merchandise using electronic scanning equipment. Join us in maintaining pricing integrity and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Examples of Duties:

Scan merchandise using electronic scanning equipment to assign prices.

Verify accuracy of scanned prices and resolve any discrepancies.

Assist with labeling and tagging merchandise as needed.

Ensure proper placement of price tags on merchandise according to store guidelines.

Communicate effectively with team members regarding pricing issues or discrepancies.

Assist customers with pricing inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of retail operations and inventory management.

Familiarity with electronic scanning equipment and pricing systems.

Skills:

Attention to detail and accuracy in scanning and pricing merchandise.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Abilities:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Adaptability to learn and use electronic scanning equipment.

Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required .

Basic computer skills for operating electronic scanning equipment.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
