Role Overview & Daily ResponsibilitiesAs an Entry‑Level Outside Pest Control Sales Consultant, your daily responsibility is speaking directly with homeowner clients at their doorstep, teaching them about our Home Pest Control solution. If we meet their needs, then you will have the chance to enroll them in the program that makes the most sense. Through these face‑to‑face interactions, you’ll educate families on how our services can improve their home’s safety, and cleanliness, while giving them greater peace of mind.
Success in this role comes from quickly building rapport, earning trust, and clearly conveying our value—all within a brief, yet impactful, door‑to‑door interaction. Your determination, professionalism, and in‑depth product knowledge will help you create and maintain a steady pipeline of potential customers, converting initial cold leads into long‑term, loyal clients.
- Commit to traveling to, and working, in one of our 8 locations around the US (Rental Bonus covers costs).
- Conduct door‑to‑door prospecting to increase awareness of our affordable, high‑quality pest control services.
- Work around homeowners' schedules, focusing on afternoon and evening availability to maximize engagement.
- Commit to a seasonal summer work schedule from April through September (or a comparable time frame).
- Educate homeowners on the long‑term benefits of professional pest control services.
- Participate in daily sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring strong relationships through regular follow‑ups.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- No sales experience? No problem! While a background in sales is a plus, we provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.
- Recent high school graduates and college students are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Prepared to travel to, and live, in‑market at one of our 8 locations nationwide (housing costs subsidized through performance‑based bonuses).
- Must be resilient and adaptable, able to handle regular rejection while maintaining a professional, positive attitude.
- Full‑time availability required (9‑hour shifts) from April through September for the summer sales season.
- Strong communication skills are a must; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Willingness to learn, follow scripts, and complete sales training to improve performance.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Approximated seasonal/summer earnings: $55,000 - $75,000 (includes advances, commissions, performance bonuses, and profit‑sharing). Competitive, tiered commission structure with additional structured incentives for high performers. Clear path to rapid promotion and increased earnings based on merit.
