About the Role

Part‑time Sales Associate at Five Below, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales, stocking merchandise, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience.

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Understand and meet customer needs, provide product knowledge, recommend items, and engage in suggestive selling.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience.
• Resolve customer concerns, turning returns into exchanges where possible.
• Communicate needs to management regarding restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Support team and company goals, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• At least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Comfortable using or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and hand‑held devices.
• Good communication skills with the ability to engage customers.
• Courteous and professional handling of customer interactions.
• Basic information‑gathering skills for problem solving.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise up to 25 lbs and up to 5–10 ft.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Perform kneeling, bending, twisting, and stooping positions in the stock room and sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers, including telephone and face‑to‑face.
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and to/from the stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Identify and follow email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position 80% of the time.
