Job Overview

Position: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. The role performs inspections and repairs to interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
• Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Perform general interior maintenance such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems.
• Execute minor plumbing repairs.
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and other general maintenance as assigned.
• Move office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
• Be on-call for after‑hours emergencies.
• Comply with safety procedures, maintain housekeeping, and identify safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws.
• Follow policies for safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document work performance and material procurement.

Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft, frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive long distances.

• 3+ years of general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
