Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Overview

Heavy construction equipment dealer in Twin Falls,  experienced heavy equipment mechanics for service. We are a small family‑owned, non‑union company with a large‑company compensation and benefits package. We have locations throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona, and we are growing rapidly—overtime is required.

• Service customer equipment in shop or at customers’ jobsites.
• Complete jobs at or under manufacturer’s published flat‑rate repair times.
• Plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Work effectively under pressure independently and as a team player.

• Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment.
• Experience in a equipment dealership is ideal.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
• Welding, hydraulic, and electrical experience required.
• Mid‑level diagnostic ability.
• Ability to perform repairs such as welding, redo major components (axles, engines, transmissions) and attachments (hammers, shears).
• Engine certifications are a plus.
• Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal.
• Possess a clean and valid Class B driver’s license, recent K4 printout required.
• Detail oriented and able to multi‑task.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
