Employment Training Specialist (Part‑time)

Part‑time position (29 hours per week) advocating for and training people with disabilities to help them meet employer expectations and achieve independence.

• Monday–Sunday; hours determined based on client needs.
• May require work beyond the regular workday.
• 24‑hour notice required for requests.
• Hours not to exceed 29 per week.

• Assist clients who have secured community employment to maintain and develop their vocational skills to the levels needed to achieve their vocational goals.
• Provide direct job coaching, support, and advocacy.

• Pay starts at $13.50 per hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent; preference for at least two years of related experience in vocational rehabilitation, special education, teaching, or counseling.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful Health and Welfare criminal background check.
• Supervisor must pass a Department of Health and Welfare background check.
