Direct Support Professional: Training Specialist; Job Coach

Job Summary

The Employment Training Specialist is a part‑time position (29 hours per week). The role focuses on advocating for and training individuals with disabilities to help them achieve and maintain community employment. Hours are Monday through Sunday and are determined by client needs; they may require work beyond the regular workday and a 24‑hour notice. Pay starts at $13.50 per hour.

• Assist clients who have secured community employment to maintain and develop their vocational skills to the level needed to achieve their vocational goal.
• Provide direct job coaching, support, and advocacy.

• High school diploma or equivalency; preferred experience of two years in a related field such as Vocational Rehabilitation, special education, teaching, or counseling.
• Valid driver's license and a successful Health and Welfare criminal background check (including a Department of Health and Welfare background check).
• Ability to secure an E‑Verify and Form I‑9 authorization for U.S. employment.
