CDL A Truck Driver

Overview

Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Operator to join their safety‑conscious team in Kimball, NE. This position will run from Kimball, NE to Boise,  SLC, UT. The route covers 2,800‑3,200 miles weekly and requires the operator to stay out two weeks at a time. Candidates may be domiciled anywhere on the lane or in the western region.

• Average $200,000–250,000 per year
• Bi‑weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on‑duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non‑asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operate tractor‑trailer units.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of the units.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste; properly secure the loads.
• Place placards on the vehicle in accordance with company and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
