DescriptionThe Senior Accountant is an individual contributor within the Victoria’s Secret North America Stores Financial Reporting team, primarily responsible for preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation schedules, performing analysis on current accruals and determining appropriate methodology to calculate accruals, as well as assisting with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate/financial reporting. Responsible for compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies, as well as adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls.

- Provide forecasts to finance partners
- Analyze material fluctuations and providing explanations to leadership/External Reporting
- Lead ad-hoc projects as requested
- Follow up on outstanding issues on a timely basis with minimal supervision
- Identify areas of improvement and execute plans for implementation of process improvements
- Provide support with internal and external audit activities
Minimum Salary: $76,700.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications- 3-5 years of experience in preparing, analyzing, and reviewing accounting information and financial statements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or CPA Candidate a plus
- Advanced PC skill proficiency including Excel; experience with SAP a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills - Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Perform job functions/assignments with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality
- Execute sound judgment in general accounting matters
- Ability to think analytically and creatively
- Ability to handle ad hoc reporting requests
