Senior Demand & Deployment Analyst

Your Role

The Sr Demand & Deployment Analyst will be responsible for executing Merchandise Planning and Allocation (MP&A) deployment processes to support the Victoria's Secret Beauty brand in regions throughout the world. This role will be responsible for overseeing the flow of merchandise to ensure adequate inventory availability. This position covers the entire product lifecycle: pre-season, in season & post season. This role will also create core SKU level sales and inventory plans for Victoria’s Secret Global (VSG) and will be responsible for creating partner level reporting based on partner specific retail sales trends and inventory needs.

The SR D&D Analyst will provide ship sales and retail sales analysis, insights and recommendations to maximize sales and profitability for VSG and our partners. This position will work as a member of a global team operating in multiple countries and time zones.

• Responsible for assigned subcategory core inventory management and analysis for a multi-echelon supply chain network: owned DCs, third party DCs, partner warehouses, stores & digital businesses. Monthly re-forecasting strategy on 12-16 month open-to-buy, inventory turn and 90%+ in-stock targets to support global forecasts and shipping priorities, inclusive of franchise and wholesale businesses.
• Maintain core beauty product mix (newness, carryover, supersession, sell down). Inform all stakeholders of updates, ensure partner set up to ship & manage exceptions.
• Develop core beauty shipments for franchise markets;
  Monitor launch and lead sell-down strategies for core product in markets. Provide insight & recommend actions when necessary.
• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
• Execute inventory management strategies to improve turnover rates, reduce carrying costs, & monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives; implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with merchandise planning, merchandising, regional/commercial, & business ops teams to provide insight into opportunities in inventory/sales, incorporate market intelligence & promotional activities into demand forecasts, hindsight prior and current seasons to provide guidance on future assortment and inventory depth opportunities to ensure alignment of demand and supply.
• Partner with production, SCP&A Logistics, and distribution centers on vendor order management, shipping prioritization, volume projections, and optimization projects as necessary.
• Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting tools to generate insights and recommendations for inventory planning.
• Provide recommendations to and participate in as necessary cross-functional team meetings, monthly planning meetings, etc.
• Prepare & present as requested reports on demand forecasts and insight into DC and franchise partner inventory & DC inbound/outbound projections.

• Act as a point of contact for franchise partners regarding core beauty product demand and inventory needs by fostering strong, empathetic relationships.
• May visit international markets and stores to foster relationships, review inventory levels and improve process.
• Additional duties as assigned.
