Industrial Engineer II
The Project Engineer (Industrial Engineer II) is responsible for supporting strategic and tactical support initiatives that drive capability and efficiency in the Logistics and Supply Chain operations and infrastructure. Primary responsibilities are focused on both retail and direct-to-consumer fulfillment operations. These include: facility design and utilization planning, applied Industrial Engineering principles, engineered labor standards, material handling automation design and implementation, and strong project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates thorough understanding and application of Industrial Engineering principles including ergonomics, engineered labor standards, work sampling, time studies, data analysis using statistical tools, engineering finance, etc
- Analysis of existing distribution processes using industrial engineering tools in order to evaluate possible changes to improve the processes
- Conceptual design and layout of new processes, including estimates of both productivity and capacity, cost and schedule
- Demonstrates the ability to lead small to medium projects and applies project management skills
- Demonstrates excellent data analysis skills including using relational databases and statistics (SQL / Oracle preferred)
- Assists in material handling equipment design, procurement, and installation with oversight from senior members of the engineering team
- Implement and maintain engineering labor standards and Labor Management System (LMS)
- Represents the engineering team on cross functional project teams
- Communicates well with business partners, team members and external vendors
- Helps educate junior members of the engineering team and shares knowledge
Minimum Salary: $76,700.00

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing engineering role
- Effective communication and cross functional team collaboration skills
- Proficient with MOST and intermediate/advanced skill in Labor Management System
- Detail oriented with creative problem solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with Auto Cad
Desired Additional
Skills:
- Experience with data analysis
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Experience with MTM or other predetermined time measurement systems
- MOST, Lean, or other applicable professional certifications
- CAD, modeling, simulation, and database software skills
- PMP certification is a plus
