RN - Experienced Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Overview

Staff RN in the Free Standing Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Reynoldsburg.

Schedule:

three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. ED experience required.

• Provide nursing care within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act; collaborate in a teamwork-focused environment and deliver patient care using the Nursing Process within organizational standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients; develop and implement a plan of care with the patient and family, including physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicate pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner; keep patient and family apprised.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and completely in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and for documentation by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
