Kenda Tire is a leading global manufacturer of wheels and tires for ATV/UTV, bicycle, golf, industrial, light truck, mobility, motorcycle, passenger car, trailer, and utility applications. In addition to a comprehensive portfolio of Kenda-brand retail products, we supply fleet volumes of wheels and tires to some of the world's largest vehicle manufacturers. Our Reynoldsburg, Ohio, location is home to Kenda USA, which manages all aspects of Kenda’s North American operations.
Kenda is looking for an Associate Sales Manager to support our growing Powersports aftermarket business. This role is ideal for a Powersports professional who wants hands‑on experience in B2B account management, sales analytics, inventory planning, and cross‑functional collaboration within a manufacturer‑led environment. The Powersports (motorcycle, ATV, SxS) division of Kenda USA is a tight‑knit, pragmatic, high‑energy crew. Many of us have a passion for riding, racing, and wrenching.
This role offers real exposure to the operations of a global manufacturer across sales, product, and marketing.
The Associate Sales Manager is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed company revenue targets. This role is responsible for managing key client relationships, leading daily performance, and analyzing sales metrics. You’ll work closely with divisional leadership, sales management, product, and marketing teams to grow customer accounts, analyze market data and sales trends, and help execute strategies that drive long‑term growth.

- An associate’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Powersports, Automotive, or CPG industry.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent personal organizational skills; comfortable operating in high‑detail, fast‑paced environments
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Technical understanding of motorcycles, ATVs, and SxS products
- Experience in finding answers and drawing conclusions from data sets (typically Microsoft Excel)
- Knowledge of the Powersports and/or automotive aftermarket industry
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred;
Power BI experience a plus - Organized, dependable, and team‑oriented
- Support day‑to‑day account management for assigned B2B Powersports customers.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships through regular communications and a consultative sales approach, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support customers by preparing and processing their orders, tracking and reporting order status from production through product delivery.
- Analyze buying trends and habits to identify selling opportunities.
- Represent Kenda at sponsored events, customer meetings, training seminars, and trade shows.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers, events, and meetings. (~15%)
- Monitor and achieve set sales goals.
- Analyze sales performance using Excel, Power BI, MS Dynamics, and ERP data.
- Assist in developing and executing sales plans to meet budget, revenue, and market objectives by identifying trends, risks, growth, and new market opportunities.
- Track sales metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports for divisional management to identify improvements, in support of competitive analyses and product positioning.
- Develop data‑driven inventory recommendations based on sales history and forecasts.
- Partner with stocking locations to support inventory planning across U.S.
- Align with purchasing and operations teams to create POs within established protocols.
- Monitor on‑hand and in‑transit inventory positions.
- Collaborate with Product Management by sharing customer feedback and market insights.
- Support Marketing with sales collateral distribution and activations.
- Assist with warranty analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
