Dental Hygiene Assistant

We are seeking a Prophylaxis Assistant (PPA) to join our team of specialists in pediatric dentistry. A PPA supports certified dental hygienists by preparing for patient visits and providing hands‑on patient care, particularly for children.

• Assist hygienists in patient preparation and care during appointments.
• Support children and families throughout their visits.
• Perform basic clinical and administrative tasks such as charting and data entry.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Travel locally to other First Impressions offices as required.

• CPR certification (preferred).
• At least one year of experience working with or caring for children (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills and commitment to patient/parent satisfaction.
• Excellent oral and written communication, able to interact with patients and team members.
• Good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity and precision.
• Basic computer and data entry skills; familiarity with Dentrix Ascend and Carestream Imaging helpful.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including part‑time or full‑time shifts.
