Environmental Analysis and Review Specialist - Entry or Advanced - Project​/Permanent

Introduction

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Division of Transportation System Development, North Central Region is seeking an Environmental Analysis and Review Specialist Entry or Advanced
- Project/Permanent. This position may be headquartered at 510 Hanson Lake Rd in Rhinelander or 1681 2nd Ave S in Wisconsin Rapids. This position offers a hybridized work schedule. The position will be required to work from the headquartered office in Wisconsin Rapids or Rhinelander, WI at least 2 days per week. All employees working a hybrid work schedule are generally expected to telework within the State of Wisconsin.

This position functions as an Environmental Analysis & Review Specialist (EARS) located in the North Central Region (NCR). This position provides research, analysis, consultation, and coordination services to Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) staff and management on proposed environmental laws and regulations. This position also assists the North Central Region operating units, project teams, and consultants in development, implementation, and documentation of environmental processes under provisions of the National and Wisconsin Environmental Policy Acts and the department’s environmental operational policies, guidelines, and procedures.
