We are looking for a Manufacturing Painter Blaster to join our Rhinelander, WI Team! The Manufacturing Painter Blaster leads and demonstrates safety in the workplace, operates spray painting and blasting equipment to apply protective coatings to structural materials, and consistently maintains high quality while meeting or exceeding routed hours.
- Must be able to apply all zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless, pressure pot, or wire spray.
- Operate blaster safely to production schedule and perform all general maintenance.
- Prep parts according to shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning designated surfaces with no assistance.
- Understand different types of paints and materials applied and how to mix.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Function as a team player with co‑workers and mentor others.
- Basic blueprint skills.
- Ability to rebuild spray guns/paint pots and airless spray machine without assistance.
- Must obtain SSPC paint and blast certifications.
- Must properly utilize paint, environmental, and waste stream data sheets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1+ years Industrial Manufacturing Painter, Industrial Coatings Painter Blaster, or Automotive Paint Experience.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
- Long periods of standing.
