• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin 54501
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), variable schedule
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
• Float: To similar critical care units and other local healthcare facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed

• Active Wisconsin RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Experience in critical access or rural hospital settings highly preferred
• Ability to float to similar units and other local healthcare facilities as needed
• Comfortable providing care for occasional pediatric surgical patients

• Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults and occasional pediatric patients (1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC electronic health records (no prior EPIC experience required)
• Float to similar critical care units and other local hospitals as assigned
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
