Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Emergency Department RN assignment for a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a start date of 4/27. This role follows 12-hour variable night-based scheduling from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and includes every other weekend and every other holiday coverage. The nurse may be prescheduled to float as needed to other designated locations, depending on staffing needs. During low census, travelers may be placed on call, and callback pay applies with a 2-hour minimum if called back in.

Orientation-week hours are not guaranteed. The contract also allows for low census unbillable hours under facility guidelines. This position is ideal for an experienced ED RN who can adapt to variable scheduling and multi-site support when needed.

Responsibilities include providing emergency nursing care during 12-hour variable shifts, assessing and treating patients with urgent and emergent conditions while maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC. The traveler must be prepared to float to assigned locations as needed, with floating potentially scheduled in advance. During low census, the clinician may be placed on call, and if called back to work, callback procedures and minimum pay rules will apply.

The nurse is also expected to follow all scheduling, holiday rotation, orientation, infection-control, and masking policies throughout the assignment.
