Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The nurse will provide urgent care for patients with various illnesses or trauma, requiring quick assessment, intervention, and stabilization of life‑threatening conditions. Responsibilities include triaging patients, prioritizing injuries based on medical need, and making rapid, accurate physical and mental health assessments. The role demands knowledge of general and specific health issues and the ability to recognize and treat critical conditions effectively.
Qualifications & Skills- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Recent acute care ER experience (minimum 18 months)
- Possibly BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong assessment, decision‑making, and triage skills
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize trauma and illness cases
- Prioritize patient needs through triage
- Quickly evaluate physical and mental health conditions
- Recognize and treat life‑threatening situations
