Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care

Shift: 5x8s – Night Shift (NOC)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1,959.32 – $2,305.08 per week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a highly respected, family-owned facility in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality care across short-term rehab and long-term care units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive skilled nursing care across various units including Rehab, Skilled Nursing (SNF), Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), and Short-Term Stay.
• Manage patient care including wound care, stoma care, Wound Vacs, PEG/G/J-tubes, Foley catheters, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps.
• Administer IV fluids and antibiotics, start IVs, and draw labs.
• Perform basic tracheostomy care (no ventilator care required).
• Maintain safe patient ratios (typically 15:1 to 18–20:1 for Short-Term Stay/Rehab; ~25:1 for LTC/SNF).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a LTC, SNF, LTAC, or Rehab setting.
• Certifications:
  
  Active BLS/CPR certification required. IV certification preferred.
• Licensure:
  Active RN license in good standing (no actions or hits against license).
• Flexibility:
  Must be willing to float across all units within the facility.
• Traveler Requirement:
  Candidates must reside at least 50 minutes away from the facility location (local candidates not accepted).
