About the Role

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is looking for a Quality Manager to join our team at our Rhinelander location. In this role, you'll lead quality initiatives, support a great team, and help ensure the products we produce meet the highest standards for customers you already know and trust.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and continuously improve ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management Systems
  • Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method development
  • Drive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance
  • Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant
  • Support new product commercialization by establishing quality standards from development through launch
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team
  • Serve as the plant's primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliers

  • Quality Systems Management – Administering, auditing, and improving ISO 9001 and food safety systems
  • Statistical Process Control – Control charts, capability studies, measurement system analysis, and data-driven decision making
  • People Leadership – Building, motivating, and developing high-performing quality teams
  • Customer & Supplier Management – Complaint investigation, scorecard management, supplier claims, and relationship building
  • Communication & Influence – Driving quality understanding and compliance at all levels with clarity and confidence
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean – Applying structured problem-solving and lean tools to reduce variability and improve performance
  • Lab & Equipment Oversight – Managing QC lab operations, calibration programs, and test procedure accuracy
  • Training & Development – Building team capability in defect recognition, quality tools, and statistical methods
  • Planning & Prioritization – Managing multiple competing priorities with focus in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring
  • Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 system administration
  • Experience with Food Safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principles
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements

Standard Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for plant operations, audits, and customer needs Ability to stand, walk, and navigate manufacturing areas; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; PPE required in designated areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes) Travel:
Up to 25% (customer visits, supplier visits, audits, cross-site activities)
