Position SummaryLead and develop teams to achieve customer service excellence, drive financial results, and ensure compliance with Walmart policies in a demanding overnight stocking role.
Core Responsibilities- Teach training and actively listen to associates, providing feedback and coaching.
- Communicate store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction across all levels.
- Model exceptional customer service using the One Best Way (OBW) service model and manage community outreach initiatives.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues, developing action plans to improve service quality.
- Drive financial performance and sales by managing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates; set clear expectations and recognize performance.
- Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities, building relationships with stakeholders and measuring progress.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, support Open Door Policy, and promote ethics and integrity.
- Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and create a workplace of belonging.
- Act with integrity, serve customers first, and make decisions based on data and long‑term priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support change initiatives.
- 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For firearms‑selling facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities selling ammunition with state requirements: a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Will attend and complete all required job trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U, Bellevue University).
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
