External Site Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced External Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a flagship £65 million school new build project in London. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of all external packages from early stages through to completion on a high‑profile scheme.

You will be responsible for managing all external works on a £65m new build education project, including groundworks, drainage, hard landscaping, and external finishes. Working as part of a strong site team, you will report into the Project Manager and play a key role in delivering the external phase on programme and to a high standard.

• Oversee all external packages including groundworks, drainage, and hard landscaping.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and in line with the programme.
• Coordinate daily site activities and resolve any on‑site issues.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications and drawings.

• Proven experience managing external packages on new build projects.
• Strong background in groundworks and associated trades.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme on site.
