Little Compton School Department is looking to add to its daily, on‑call substitute roster for Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Applicants must pass a national background check.
Duties May Include:- Implement teacher lesson plans and administrator directives with fidelity and efficiency.
- Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students.
- Supervise student activities such as lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal.
- Perform administrative services for the classroom teacher/Principal or designee.
- Assist in Main Office as directed by Principal or designee.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students and staff personnel information.
- Be a positive role model for students.
- Ability to be flexible with job assignments as needed.
- Assume responsibility for other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

- Bachelor's degree preferred, however substitute Teacher Assistants must meet the general qualifications of teacher assistant as provided in § 16‑11.2‑2. Must abide by state statutes, Little Compton School Committee Policies and school procedures.
