Johnson and Wales - Ministry Overview:
This team will find their home and church community with BridgePointe Christian Church as they create a Christian community on campus to invite students to discover God's Dream. Johnson and Wales University is a deeply thoughtful, globally minded campus where students are constantly engaging big questions about justice, identity, and what really matters. Many arrive curious and reflective but without meaningful connections to faith communities-creating a unique opportunity to build authentic relationships, explore faith honestly, and invite students into long-term discipleship in the way of Jesus.
Job Purpose and Overview:
The campus minister is responsible for inviting students to discover God's dream for their lives by providing them with experiences that facilitate a Jesus centered community, engagement with questions of faith and life, and living justly in the world.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership
- Recruit student leaders to enable progress toward goals and objectives
- Cultivate a healthy and effective ministry to students
- Team
- Vision Driven - Execute and implement within a team ministry approach
- Cultivate and develop partnerships that enable progress toward goals and objectives.
- Execute the team roles and responsibilities developed with the Team Lead
- Ministry
- Spiritually Healthy - Execute a personal development plan.
- Fully Funded - Fundraise for your contracted amount
- Secure funding for implementation of the campus ministries team approach
- Communicate effectively with students, partners, and teammates
- Qualifications
- Is over the age of 21
- Experience as a resident, intern, or in student leadership with Sojourn is a plus
- Experience in campus ministry is a plus
- BSc/BA degree is a plus
- Has demonstrated . . .

Salary
$48,000 - $80,000 per year
