This is a full‑time Social Studies/History Teacher position at Exeter‑West Greenwich Senior High School. The teacher will lead sections of U.S./World History, Department Electives, and/or Psychology/AP Psychology. A background in psychology is preferred, and the teacher must complete the AP training course before teaching the assigned class.

• Current Rhode Island teaching certificate for secondary social studies/history.
• Evidence of meeting highly qualified status requirements (certification tests, degree in field).
• Ability to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, learning styles, and needs.
• Ability to utilize a wide range of technology to supplement instruction and optimize student engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with special educators, support staff, administration, and departmental colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong writing skills through the analysis of informational text and other historical documents.
• Working knowledge of applicable state standards.
• Ability to integrate formative and summative assessment processes to inform instruction.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
