The South Kingstown School Department is hiring substitute teachers in all grade levels and subject areas. A day-to-day substitute teacher is an individual who is employed on a temporary basis for fewer than 45 consecutive days in the same assignment. Position Type:

• Current National Fingerprint-Based BCI Check A day-to-day substitute must hold a bachelor's degree or higher, hold an associate's degree, have completed a minimum of two years of college as part of a four-year degree track, or hold a RIDE teaching certificate.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

South Kingstown School Department actively seeks applications from the most capable, professional candidates. In order to be considered, you must submit a COMPLETE School Spring application. Incomplete School Spring applications will NOT be considered. If selected for hire, before being added to our substitute list, you will be required to provide the following items in person: 1. W-4 2. Federal BCI (Done through the State Attorney General's Office) 3.
