-French Experience teaching world language Ability to teach multiple levels of Spanish and support students in earning the Rhode Island Seal of Biliteracy. One (1) or more years of successful teaching experience. Experience utilizing student achievement data to inform instruction. Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners. Experience integrating instructional technology into mathematics instruction.
Knowledge of MTSS, differentiation, and evidence-based mathematics practices. MLL endorsement and/or special education experience preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work VISA required Position Type:

Job Requirements- Qualification Requirements Valid Rhode Island All Grades (Spanish) World Language Teacher Certification (PK–12) or eligibility for Rhode Island certification. Demonstrated proficiency in the target language. Demonstrated knowledge of world language curriculum, proficiency-based instruction, assessment practices, and classroom management. Ability to teach multiple levels of Spanish and support students in earning the Rhode Island Seal of Biliteracy. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Compliance with all Rhode Island Department of Education requirements. Preferred Valid Rhode Island All Grades (French) World Language Teacher Certification (PK–12) or eligibility for Rhode Island certification. One (1) or more years of successful teaching experience. Experience implementing proficiency-based world language instruction aligned to ACTFL standards. Experience integrating instructional technology and digital resources into language instruction.
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners. Knowledge of MTSS, differentiation, and culturally responsive teaching practices, and differentiation. Experience organizing or supporting language clubs, cultural events, travel programs, or enrichment opportunities. MLL endorsement and/or special education experience preferred. - Terms of Employment Salary and benefits in accordance with the Scituate Teachers' Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
