Primary responsibility is to assist students with academic work in regular classrooms. Responsibilities:
Perform under teacher's supervision and direction in all areas of school activities and instruction. He/she shall be expected to:
Follow the teacher's direction in maintaining classroom structure and behavioral control. Assist the teacher in academic instruction. Assist in processing and correcting student assignments. Supervise students during teacher's planning periods, MTSS/ET, IEP meetings, or during any short term absence from the classroom during the school day. Supervise students before school, during recess, during lunch periods, and inister the school rules and regulations governing student behavior.

Perform any and all/other related duties assigned by the building principal.

• Qualifications Selected candidate will be required to have a current BCI with fingerprinting. Bachelor's degree or Para Pro certification or Associate's Degree or higher with completed coursework evidencing Reading, Writing and Math Skills. Teacher Assistant certification preferred Safety Care Training preferred At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required
