Special Education Teacher Contract for 36 weeks in Wood River Junction, Rhode Island. Provide individualized instruction and support to students with severe and multiple disabilities. Earn up to $58 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with severe and multiple disabilities
- Provide direct instructional support to students with Autism, , and other disabilities in a classroom setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including aides and support staff, to ensure student success and proper integration
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavior, and interventions
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and respect for all students
- Severe Disabilities/Significant Disabilities Special Education certification
- 1 year minimum experience with related student populations
- Experience working with students with Autism, , and multiple disabilities
- Strong classroom support skills
- Ability to provide 1:1 support for students with special needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Background checks as required for working with minors and vulnerable populations
- Premium pay 13% above market average with weekly direct deposit

You hold a Severe Disabilities Special Ed certification. You have at least one year experience with autism/ can develop IEPs and provide 1:1 support
