Special Education Teacher Contract for 36 weeks in Wood River Junction, Rhode Island. Provide individualized instruction and support to students with severe and multiple disabilities. Earn up to $58 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with severe and multiple disabilities
  • Provide direct instructional support to students with Autism, , and other disabilities in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including aides and support staff, to ensure student success and proper integration
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavior, and interventions
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and respect for all students
Qualifications:
  • Severe Disabilities/Significant Disabilities Special Education certification
  • 1 year minimum experience with related student populations
  • Experience working with students with Autism, , and multiple disabilities
  • Strong classroom support skills
  • Ability to provide 1:1 support for students with special needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Background checks as required for working with minors and vulnerable populations

You hold a Severe Disabilities Special Ed certification. You have at least one year experience with autism/ can develop IEPs and provide 1:1 support
