URI’s College of Nursing is a nationally recognized leader in nursing education, research, and community engagement.
Through innovative programs and strong clinical partnerships, the College prepares compassionate, skilled, and forward-thinking nurses to meet evolving health care needs while advancing nursing science, health equity, and evidence-based practice. The College of Nursing is seeking an Associate Dean for Graduate Programs. As a member of the College Administrative Leadership Team, the Associate Dean provides leadership in the development, planning, analysis, and administration of graduate programs.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. and demonstrate achievement in teaching, scholarship, and service commensurate with appointment at the rank of Professor at URI, with eligibility for tenure. The ideal candidate will have graduate-level teaching experience; strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; collaborative and supervisory experience; and familiarity with accreditation standards and regulations relevant to graduate nursing education.
The Final date to receive applications is October 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET. The position is based in Providence, Rhode Island, with a salary range of $190,000–$225,000 USD.
