FM seeks an Approvals Advanced Engineer to lead complex product testing and certification projects. In this role, you'll interpret standards, design and oversee test programs, analyze performance and safety results, and prepare clear technical reports. You will partner closely with clients and internal teams to define requirements, guide products through the approvals process, and recommend design or performance improvements. The engineer will mentor junior staff, support continuous improvement of methods and tools, and ensure strict compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality expectations across all projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering evaluations for product approvals and certification projects
- Apply industry standards, codes, and test methods to assess product performance and safety
- Design and review test plans, analyze data, and prepare technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to define requirements
- Guide clients through the approvals process and provide technical recommendations
- Support continuous improvement of test methods, tools, and documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute engineering expertise to complex projects
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements
