Location: New Shoreham
Block Island Utility District (BIUD), doing business as Block Island Power Company, seeks a CFO to lead financial strategy and operations for a small, nonprofit electric utility serving Block Island, Rhode Island.
The CFO will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, cash management and audits, reporting to the CEO and Board. This is a newly created executive leadership role requiring deep financial expertise in utilities and a commitment to community ownership.
