Role

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role based throughout RI. The CNA will provide personal care and companion services to clients in their homes, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Daily responsibilities include supporting meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans. The role involves monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff, documenting care activities, and following safety and infection control guidelines.

The CNA will collaborate with nurses and other care team members to promote client independence, comfort, and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Rhode Island and completion of an accredited CNA training program.
  • Demonstrated skills in personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe mobility support.
  • Ability to perform home support tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to provide respectful companionship and build rapport with clients and families.
  • Reliable time management, attention to detail, and accurate documentation of care and client status.
  • Knowledge of basic infection control, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA or equivalent standards).
  • Capacity to work in clients’ homes, including the ability to lift, reposition, and assist clients safely as needed.
  • Previous experience in home healthcare, long-term care, or a similar care setting is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and ability to travel locally to client homes as scheduled.
